Did you ever name the donkey?

Not officially. Maybe you can just name it Sara - we're having a hard enough time deciding on a baby name!! :-P

WOW! Not only is it bizarre to see you pregnant but you look SO MATERNAL. I wish I could witness it all in person.

Good luck on the name. MJR and I are certain we'll be a family of boys--we can find no commonality on girls' names. -rlr

I think you look BEAUTIFUL! Megan and I were window shopping at baby stores today. I doubt that you'll ever get to buy an article of clothing with all baby's various grandparents and aunts/uncles.

Personally, I like the name Blue. (For the donkey, that is.)

Kevin, naming that donkey "Blue" is like naming your child "Boy" or "Girl." Surely there's more to life than that.

Amy, I love this picture of you. I can't wait to see you with the baby in your arms!

Sara,

Looking at your comments from an earlier post suggesting a Latin-sounding name (see Introducing...) for the donkey, I guess we could name it Kevinicus, as my co-workers have now dubbed me. They came up with the name as they were acting out what they imagined my high school graduation must have been like. Apparently, they think that all home schoolers graduate from high school fluent in Latin.

I think Kevinicus is a cool name! Why waste it on the donkey...? :)

My sister had a VERY ugly beanbag doll with a plastic face named "Bluebaby" which slept with her every night. Can't tell you how many times my parents had to return late to a friend's house to retrieve Bluebaby. She finally wore out, and they had to replace her with one that was identical, but pink. She still called it Bluebaby.

I think Ass is an appropriate name for a donkey.

Hey don't knock my Bluebaby. I still have the pink Bluebaby tucked away in a box. Aunt B.
