I am now number 260 in line on the wait-list at my local library for the Deceptively Delicious book, thanks to Oprah featuring it on her show.
Last night I went to coffee with several of my friends from MOPS and Leah mentioned that she’s read the book and it’s easy—all you do is add pureed vegetables to everything from cupcakes to meatloaf.
Maybe next July when it's my turn to read the book I'll find out more ...

On the day the latest Harry Potter book was released (July 21), there were 337 requests for the book at the Loudoun county library. The library had gotten enough copies that by the end of September, everyone on that list had either canceled their request or had a chance to borrow the book. Hopefully, your library is at least as efficient in meeting demand for a popular book!
I'm intrigued by this book - I've seen several things about it. Seems like a good way to get more vitamins and nutrients into food your family will eat! I'll have to check it out - well maybe I'll wait until the list goes down. :)
You must have moved up today, because I just put it on hold and I'm number 254. :)
Yeah, now I'm number 237 ... so maybe it will be January when I get to read it. Yay! :)
I had heard about this book. Sounds intriguing. I'll look forawrd to hearing your opinion on it!
You know you can get it from Amazon for $14.95 plus shipping... and if you buy one other item of $10 value shipping is free. Of course... if the book remains as popular, you could then turn around and sell it. Some people (surprisingly) are trying to sell it for more than Amazon is. Hahaha.
So, when Oprah speaks people rush out... wonder what their response is to her political endorsements?
