Several of our fall children's books talk about "Pumpkin Days" so I decided to institute our own Pumpkin Day. We had so much fun with it, I'm hoping to make it an annual tradition.
We started the day with pumpkin pancakes at our house. Then we went to the pumpkin patch and we did the corn maze, pony rides, etc. The kids also picked and decorated their own pumpkins. Meredith's favorite activity was jumping in the hay pile!! We ended the day back at our house with soup in the crock pot. And, of course, yummy pumpkin pie!

That is such a good idea!
So much fun, we should do this, because we basically do all of it, just spread out over the month of October :)
Link please? You once posted a link to a pumpkin pancake recipe that was very good, but I never bookmarked it. =)
Rose, these are the best pancakes ever! Hope you enjoy. :)
