"Dog"
Meredith's new word, since saying "nigh-nigh" when she's tired, is "dog." She's suddenly become very verbal and is trying harder to communicate with us. Kevin has a Butler University t-shirt he got from his sister Shannon, who is a student at Butler. On the t-shirt is their mascot, a mean looking bulldog. Every time Kevin wears this shirt, Meredith points to it and says "DOG." We love it!

How cute! I can't wait until Nora starts to communicate more. She says dada and mama now. Other than that, we're trying to interpret all the squeals and shrieks :0)
It has been decided....Meredith will attend Butler University for college. What other sign do you need??? :) (plus if you are still in Indy, she won't be far away! :)

Jennifer, I thought the very same thing! Meredith's first word and picture association happens to be the Butler bulldog? No mere coincidence I say.
